3 things about today (23.10.2017)

  1. Took few hours off. Went with my love on a hike around a lake.
  2. Are you surprised that often CEOs don’t trust marketing? Don’t be. Marketers are often seen as the “money-spenders”. But if you know your stuff, track everything and show how your strategy and tactics lead directly to revenue and a positive ROI. Just have those numbers… (p.s. Completely another thing is if you are a new marketing hire. Don’t waste a lot of time convincing the people who hired you to do the thing they hired you to do. Rather show them results.)
  3. It’s not important to be first in the market but first in the mind of consumers.

(a.k.a. Law 3 from the book The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing by Al Ries and Jack Trout)
